He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Jacobsen and Bernice Jacobsen (Hansen); and his daughter-in-law Jodi Jacobsen. He is survived by: his wife Becky Bintz Jacobsen; his sons, Kevin Jacobsen of Avoca, Iowa and Robb (Amy Jacobsen) of Avoca, Iowa; and his brothers, Loren (Janis Jacobsen) and Roger (Laura Jacobsen).
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:15 AM to 2:15 PM. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Graceland Cemetery (33220 US-59, Avoca, IA 51521).
In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorials be directed to them and will make a donation to the Viking Booster Club.
