He is survived by: his children, Ranea Sievers of Walnut, Iowa, Reita Larsen (Nate) of Blair, Nebraska, Cheri Akers Warren of Hickory and Ronald Dean Akers, Jr. of Avoca, Iowa; his grandchildren, Zoe, Kyle, Dexter, Dane, London and Landry; and his siblings, Dennis Akers (Betty) of Walnut, Iowa, Linda Hall (Jon) of Omaha, Nebraska and Janet Lawson (Randall) of Stuart, Iowa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
