With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rogena Schmidt of Avoca, Iowa, who passed away on November 8, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Meier and Edna Meier (Dobernacker); her husband Edgar "Hack" Schmidt; her siblings, Lotus Martin, Lavonne Springman, Fred Meier, Robert Meier, Ron Meier and Richard Meier; her brothers-in-law, Marion Martin and Marvin Huebner; and her great grandchildren, Kenneth and Neveah Schmidt.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kristy Wendell (Josh) of Ogallala, Nebraska, Seth Schmidt and Kotie Schmidt of South Dakota; her great grandchild Jacob Wendell; her sister Deanna Huebner of Persia, Iowa; and her siblings-in-law, Janet Meier, Mona Meier, Kathy Meier, Gloria Meier and Nick Springman.
