He is survived by: his children, Lyle Mikels of Harlan, Iowa, Lynn Mikels (Lori) of Newbury Park, California, Jayne Garrison (Dan) of Harlan, Cheryl Ferry (Tom) of Harlan and Sue Chickering (Bret) of Harlan; his grandchildren, Daniel Ferry, Mathew Ferry, Dylan Garrison, Rhiana Chickering, Lynsey Mikels and Timothy Mikels; his great grandchildren, Seth, Taylin Ferry, Kristofer Ferry, Devin and Regan Kramer; his sister Dolores Hicks of Manhatten Beach, California; and his sisters-in-law, Mae Mikels of Woodbine, IA and Phyllis Mikels of Portsmouth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
