He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Holcombe and Mildred Holcombe (Dickenson); and his siblings, Edward, Richard Holcombe and Ethel Murray (Teve).

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Holcombe (Ashley) of Salem Lutheran; and his children, Dennis Holcombe, Kathleen Thompson (Kenneth), Richard Holcombe (Cindy), Connie Holcombe, Nikki Myers (Dick) and David Holcombe. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews, other family and many friends.
