He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Piittmann and Alma Piittmann (Heech); his sister Lorna; and his niece Marta Lynn. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Wendt of Avoca, Iowa; his children, Troy Piittmann of Avoca, Iowa and Audra Piittmann (Russ Dickerson) of Boone, Iowa; and his nieces and nephews, John Deschamp, Jim Deschamp, Doug Wendt, Darrin Tooley, Justen Tooley, Terri Tobin, Kimberly Hoffmann and Robin Heilig.
