He is survived by : his wife Diana Fender of Hancock, IA; his sons, David Fender (Cynthia) of Littleton, CO, Bruce Fender (Lacey) of Cedar Creek, TX and Bill Fender (Dena) of Dallas, TX; his stepsons, Lance Platt (Dorothy) of Lansing, KS and Scott Platt (Colleen) of University Park, IA; his daughter-in-law Audrey Platt of Iowa City, IA; and his sister Linda Schilahab (Larry) of Montgomery, TX. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
