She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernhard Schmieder and Ruth Wellner Schmieder (Wellner); her siblings, Anthony and Susan; and her brother-in-law Bill Doudy.
She is survived by: her children, Shawn (Shane Ransom) of Walnut and Shane (Tara Lohoff) of Walnut, Iowa; her granddaughters, Brielle and Kinsley Lohoff; and her siblings, Bruce Schmieder of Charter Oak, Iowa and Connie Doudy of Mount Ayr, Iowa.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the Calendar Pauley Jones Funeral Home - Avoca Chapel (1304 N Sawmill Dr, Avoca, IA 51521).
