It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette L. Swensen (Avoca, Iowa), who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ed Parr and Helen Parr (Dobernecker); her husband Levi; and her sisters, Louise Jensen, Norma Coney and Genevieve Kemmish.

She is survived by : her daughters, Cindy Schechinger (John) of Harlan, Iowa, Penny Jacobsen (Neal) of Jacksonville, Iowa and Michelle Jacobsen (Kelly) of Elk Horn, Iowa. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
