It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Leanne Weihs (Avoca, Iowa), who passed away on December 15, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Brown and Opal Brown (Daughtery); her husband Larry Weihs; her son Greg Weihs; and her siblings, Richard Brown, Jr., Rose O'Neill, June Finch, Norma Wheelock and Dennis Brown.
She is survived by: her former husband Lawrence J. Weihs, Jr.; and her sons, Jeff Weihs (Leesia) of Crescent, Iowa, Jim Weihs of Portsmouth, Iowa, Tom Weihs (Mary Jo) of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Bill Weihs (Teresa) of Sartell, Minnesota. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
