Helen Stillian Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Stillian of Avoca, Iowa, who passed away on August 24, 2021 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Stillian to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Gabriel and Marie Lenora Showers (Lamberty); and her brothers, Leo and Dennis Showers. She is survived by : her uncle Louis; her aunt Eva; her children, Sandy Opstvedt (Brian) and Charlie Stillian (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Shawn Opstvedt (Kim), Josie Stillian, Chanon Opstvedt, Candace Mundt (Philip) and Hanna Stillian; her stepgranddaughters, Annette Helle and Cynthia Helle; her siblings, Lester Showers (Linda), Maxine Prochnow, Marge Showers, Jean Knapp (Tim) and Judy Stender; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Showers, Margot Showers, Yvonne Nucaro and Clarence Polkingharn. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.

The family is requesting face coverings be worn and social distancing be observed.

The family requests memorials be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
