He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald Lorenzen and Wilma Bernice Lorenzen (Pritchard); his children, Avoca Moines and West Des Moines; his wife Ruth Lorenzen; his children, Margaret DeLay (Daniel) of San Francisco, CA, Liz Wilden of Columbia, MO, Kathy MacKinnon (Brian) of Ankeny, IA, Debbie Harrison (David) of Ankeny, IA and Greg Lorenzen (Jennifer) of Walton, KY; his grandchildren, Samantha Palm (Eric), Chloe Lorenzen, Ana Wilden, Kailey Held (Josh), William DeLay, Jordan Lorenzen (Chelsea), Jacob Lorenzen and Conner Lorenzen; his great grandchildren, Josephine Palm, Genevieve Palm and Kane Held; and his brother Dennis Lorenzen.
