He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Carroll and Dorothy Carroll (Schultz); his daughter Amy Lynn Carroll; and his sister Diane Roos. He is survived by: his wife Lynne; his children, Julie Carroll (Jason) of Harlan, Iowa, Thomas Carroll (Amy) of Walnut, Iowa, Katie Waugh (Nickolas) of Mitchell and Andrew Carroll (Alisha) of Ankeny, Iowa; his siblings, Donna Doolittle (Jim) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Dwight Carroll of Harlan, Iowa; his brothers-in-law, Jon Roos and Mark Kaufman (Sherry); and his grandchildren, Avah Hemminger, Addison, Alyssa Carroll, Avery and Lexi Waugh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many friends.
