With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Don Hansen Jr. (Avoca, Iowa), born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2024 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sr. Hansen and Luella Madden Hansen; his brother Allen Hansen; and his nephew Kory Vredeveld. He is survived by: his children, Michelle (Darren Tooley) of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa and Brent (Leslie Hansen) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his wife Loleta Hansen of Walnut, Iowa; his children, Darrin Hansen and Heather Bauerkemper of Avoca, Iowa; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Jonnie Walker), Preston Tooley, Kamryn Tooley, Korie Hansen and Brady Hansen; his great grandchild Mayzie Walker; his siblings, Daryl Hansen, Rick Hansen and Lori Hansen; and his in-laws, Bev Hansen, Barbara (Ron Vredeveld) and Bob (Julie Kixmiller).
