She was predeceased by : her parents, Alma Rasmussen and Howard Rasmussen; and her son Scott. She is survived by : her husband Emmert Andersen; her sons, Kent (Chery) of Kirkman and Mark (Michelle) of Kirkman, Iowa; her grandchildren, Megan, Tyler, Taylor, Sam, Lindsey and Lauren; and her brother Dean Rasmussen (Caren) of Broad Brook. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
