He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Niemann and Edward Niemann (Jan); and his brother Rodney. He is survived by: his friend Earl Williams; his children, Doug Niemann of Blair, Nebraska, Lisa Kimbell (Tommy) of Wichita Falls, Texas, Laurie Pedersen (Tab) of Oakland, Iowa and Jay Niemann (Lou Ann) of Iowa City, Iowa; his grandchildren, Andrea Sweeney (Andrew), Maddie Hendrickson, Callie Kimbell, Abby Holmes (Carter), Landen Pedersen (Taylor), Ben Niemann (Ali) and Nick Niemann (Jenna); his great grandchildren, Alex, Ellie, Bella, Caiden, Olivia, Brooks, Isabelle, Rowen, Henry, Stella, Hunter and Amelia; and his sisters, Shirley Pattee (Wallace) of Avoca, Iowa and Sharon Doyle (Cliff) of Loveland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
