With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darwin Dammann of Avoca, Iowa, born in Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on October 23, 2021 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dammann and Malinda Dammann (Otto); and his brother Darryl Dammann. He is survived by: his former spouse Darcy Lohrmann; his wife Liz Dammann of Avoca; his children, Nick Dammann (Brittany) of Denison, Jon Dammann of Manilla, Daniel Read of Omaha, Michaela Mason of Hooper, NE, Justin Mason (Shelby) of Weeping Water, Nebraska and Krystal Richards of Weeping Water, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Courtney, Hunter, Katrina, Krystin, Ava, Leeam, Addy, Lizzy, Emmy and Taytum; his great grandchild Breccan; and his sisters, Diane Cross (Larry) of Waukee and Darlis Wambold (Rex) of Van Meter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
