It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Holtz (Avoca, Iowa), who passed away on March 23, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter and Henrietta Scheel (Ingwers); her husband Delno "Bud" Holtz; her son-in-law Dean Klein; and her sisters, Arlene Buck and Marilyn Nielsen.
She is survived by : her children, Jean (Michael Kenkel) of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Keith Holtz (Nancy) of Avoca and Connie Klein of Panama, Iowa; and her siblings, Robert Scheel (Donna) of Jacksonville, Iowa and Carolyn (Tom Morris) of Council Bluffs, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
