It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Burnell Buckman of Aurora, Iowa, born in Hazleton, Iowa, who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvie E. Buckman and Eunice F. Buckman (Basham); his wife Jan; and his siblings, Daryl Ian, Robert, John and Miriam.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Willard (Randy Sparks) of Waukee, Debra Willard of Oelwein, Kim Dettmer of Waterloo, Cindy Hancock (Scott) of Kegley, Tim Buckman (Teresa) of Oelwein and Shawn Buckman (Alesia) of Woodward. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and mask are suggested at the visitation and service.
Memorials may be directed in his name to the Aurora American Legion or the Aurora Community Club.
