She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Dorr and Mona Dorr (Leonard); her husband Harold Peterson; and her sisters, Mary JoAnn and Marcia Kloster.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie Petersen (Kenny), Kris Anderson (Dan), Katie Burkholder (Todd) and Lissa Kahl (Dan); her grandchildren, Leah Niemeier (Dan), Drew Wieland (Shana), Dustin Wieland (Jessica), LaTrisha Deutsch (Keenan), Nick Petersen (Sharee), Meagan Priebe (Caleb), Molly Placencia (Efrain), Mickey Moenck (Heath), Justin Burkholder, Colin Burkholder (Madeline), Isaiah Kahl and Jordan Kahl; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Grace, Anna Niemeier, Reese, Evie, Delta Wieland, Benjamin, Brady Wieland, Akaia, Mikko, Anara Deutsch, Jade Petersen, Elyn, Ezra Priebe, Aiden, Aftyn Placencia and Eden Moenck.
At Holstein Senior Living, she was welcomed by Covid the Cat, a stray who had been adopted by the memory care unit during the pandemic, and the two of them nestled in each other from day one.
