She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Ritter and Maudie Ritter (Orton); her husband Henry Merle Smith; her siblings, Leota Hohlier, Deve Killian, Verl (Twyla Ritter) and Jerry Ritter; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Scholke and Franklin Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Paula (Rick Anderson) of Los Lunas, NM, Dana (Barb Smith) of Aurelia and Cameron (Nora Smith) of Placitas, NM.; her brother Evan (Dar Ritter) of Trenton, TX; and her siblings-in-law, Gordon Scholke, Carol Smith, Linda (Al Appletoft) and Carol Ritter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church.
