He is survived by: his former wife LaVonne Pingel; his children, Brian Smith (Tari) of Henderson, NV and Krystal Tool (Joe) of Albuquerque, NM; his stepchildren, Val Townsend (Jeff) of Lytton, IA, Rusty Huster (Faye) of Lytton, IA, Roger Huster (Sandi) of Sac City, IA and Tim Huster (Minnie) of Lake City, IA; his great grandchildren, Jason Knight (Allison), Charlotte Elizalde (Troy), Emily Smith, Kyle Wright (Moe), Kayla Voris-Connor (Vincent), Lillian, Magnus, Fenrir, Joshua Sopsko, Dallas Pullen-Grey (Eric), Samantha, Micheala Engel-Parker (Dave), Owen, Oliver, Serianna Townsend (Tory Weissert), Jace Townsend, Tom Huster-Emersyn (Jami), Jennifer Wiederin-Wyatt (Jay), Noah, Megan Jondle-Matix (Taylor), Hayes and Shelby Piersch (Jonathon); his sister Barb Dauria (Lou) of Sparks, NV; and his nephew Eric Carlson. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
