With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack E. Johnson of Aurelia, Iowa, born in Pierson, Iowa, who passed away on March 27, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hjalmer Johnson and Elin Johnson (Samuelson); his stepmother Kerstin; his siblings, Henry and Rosa; his granddaughter Lindsey Johnson; and his stepsister Maj-Britt Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Janina Ann Mikulicz; his children, Karen Lloyd of Fort Dodge, Roger (Shelley Johnson) of Peterson, Patricia (Ken DeBreau) of Gurnee, IL and Richard (Connie Johnson) of Urbandale; and his grandchildren, Trevor (Shelby Lloyd), Whitney (Nick Ford), Traci (Matt Beerbower), Ashley Bates (Brent Zieman), Trista (Mark Mikkelson), Emily (Brady Bonin), Tiffany (Tyler Kruid), Ryan (Ruthanna Johnson), Caely Johnson, John DeBreau and Michael DeBreau. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cherokee Medical Center Hospice or the Relay for Life.
