We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Frances Hiemstra of Aurelia, Iowa, born in Wakefield, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Roeber (Lessmann) and George Roeber of Wakefield; her husband Lester; her parents-in-law, Garrett and Pearl Hiemstra; her brother Willis Roeber; and her siblings-in-law, Marlys Roeber, Mary Roeber, Orlo Hiemstra (Kyeth) and Harley Hiemstra.

She is survived by: her children, Lester, Frances, Diane Weathers (Joe) of Aurelia, IA, Joan Gustafson (Grant), Craig Hiemstra (Ann) of Westminster, CO and Jill Rapp (Jared) of Moville, IA.; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Amanda Weathers, Logan, Anna, Lucas, Katelyn, Audrey and Mathew; her grandchildren, Jason, Tracy Weathers (Autumn), Andrew, Elizabeth Weathers (Josie), Trent, Alicia Gustafson (Parker), Shanna, Dee Mago (Gia), Gwen, Brooks Campbell (Peyton), Kristin Hiemstra, Evan, Ella Hiemstra, Austin Rapp and Peyton Propp; her friend Tammy Anderson (Langel); her brothers, Verlyn (Lois Roeber) and Eugene Roeber; and her sister-in-law Janice Roeber. She is also survived by many loving nephews and nieces.
