He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Blake and Agnes Blake (Scott); his siblings, Rolan, Russell and Muriel Hasenwinkel; his siblings-in-law, Wilmer Anderson, Raymond Hasenwinkel, Harold Sommerfeld, Elizabeth Sommerfeld, Dorothy Wood, Peggy Blake and Donna Blake; and also, Dewey and Tillie Howe (Wilkie).
He is survived by: his wife Annette Howe; his children, Debbie (Arthur Owens) of Ankeny, IA, Laurie (Kevin Huss) of Alta and Mike (Diane Blake) of Aurelia; his grandchildren, Brent (Sarah Lytle) of Aurelia and Brooke (Mark Robb); his stepgrandchildren, Ryan (Joy Harrison) of Sioux Falls, SD, Dustin (Amanda Harrison) of Omaha, NE, Jason (Courtney Huss) of Chapman, KS, Jennifer (Justin Kjolhede) of West Point, NE and Josh (Jessica Huss) of Storm Lake; his sister Eleanor Anderson of Aurelia; and his brother-in-law Gary Wood of Columbus, IN. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, eleven step-great-grandchildren.
