He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Klingborg and Anna Klingborg (Carlson); his wife Charlotte Taggs; his siblings, Greta Magnussen (Ivar), Oscar Klingborg (Leoma) and Axel Klingborg; his brothers-in-law, Ray Fielder, Glen Scott, Eldon Davis and Vernon Strope; and his great grandchild Damon Coll.
He is survived by: his sons, James Arnold, Donald Wayne, James Klingborg (Sheila) of Correctionville, Iowa and Donald Klingborg (Karre) of Sioux City, Iowa; his great grandchild Nikoli Klingborg of Linn Grove, Iowa; his sister Elsie Stevenson of Holstein, Iowa; his sisters-in-law, Joyce Fielder of Storm Lake, Iowa, Wilda Scott of Verona, Missouri, Ruth Davis of Storm Lake, Iowa and Estelene Strope of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and his niece Gunnel Magnussen of Vetlanda, Sweden. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and many friends.
