She was predeceased by: her parents, Einer C. Rasmussen and Clara Rasmussen (Gregersen); her son Reginald; her great grandchild Kate Griffith; and her close friend Ben Klocke.

She is survived by: her spouse Lester Olsen; her children, Patty, Frank (Carol Olsen, Patty), Steve (Sherri Olsen) of Ashland and Mary (Tom Grote) of Audubon; her grandchildren, Kristie (Troy Bruun) of Wichita, Tara Hansen of Audubon, Heather (Andy Griffith) of Audubon, Chris Bylund of Audubon, Steph Umland of Council Bluffs, Dustin Durbin (Billy Halverson) of LaVista, Rachel (Jerad Tjaden) of Waukee, Cody Olsen of Ashland, Megan (Dustin Veldhuizen) of Oskaloosa and Matt (Amy McLaughlin) of Audubon; her great grandchildren, Kaley, Maddie, Ellie Bruun, Abbie Ericksen, Grady Hansen, Alex Merk, Emma, Brenna, Aiden Griffith, Devin Tjaden, Carter Krohn, Holden, Madden and Peyton Veldhuizen; her brother Roger (Carol Rasmussen) of Sidney; and her sister-in-law Lowene Christensen of Carroll. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
