He is survived by: his children, Dean (Shirley Chesnut) of Casey, Iowa, Danny (Rhonda Chesnut) of Olathe, Kansas and Deanna Chesnut (Rhonda Hockney) of Adair; his grandchildren, Ashley (Ben Sponsler) of Ankeny, Saydee (Ryan Vogel) of Olathe, Claire Chesnut of Casey, Iowa and Emma Chesnut of Casey, Iowa; his great grandchildren, Bradly of Ankeny, Jasper of Ankeny, Ella Sponsler of Ankeny and Haylee Vogel of Olathe, Kansas; his brother Dale (Marlene Chesnut) of Elkader; his sister-in-law Shirley Chestnut of Adair; his son-in-law Monte Rubel of Atlantic, Iowa; and his brother-in-law James (Jean Bireline). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
