She was predeceased by: her parents, Cliff Hansen and Emma Hansen (Rattenborg); her husband Lloyd Gene Nelson; her son Bruce Nelson; her brother Dalton (Kathryn Hansen); her brother-in-law Larry Wunder; and also, Peter H. and Johanna Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen (Jerry Riesgaard) of Exira, Kurt (Toni Nelson) of Audubon and Roger A. Nelson of Exira, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Jeanne Nelson of Kimballton, Iowa; her grandchildren, Justin Nelson (Julie Soll) of Kimballton, Iowa, Chris (Lindy Nelson) of Elk Horn, Iowa, Shandy (Chris Schultes) of Audubon, Ben (Jenn Nelson) of Audubon, Dr. Tim (Taryn Nelson) of Creston, Iowa, Karla (Jim Casterton) of Augusta, Georgia, Brenda (Alex Langpaul), Dr. Whitney Nelson of Wichita, Kansas, Olivia (Tanner Regenwether) of Clinton, Iowa, Cliff Nelson of Audubon, Jorgen Jensen (Sarah Heinrich) of Denver, Colorado and Gretta Jensen of Des Moines, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Jayce Nelson (Ruben Bedenbaugh), Jalen Nelson (Emily Copic), Jacob, Ariea Soll, Kealey, Creighton, Easton Nelson, Kaitlin, Skyler, Elly, Brody Schultes, Emery, Axton Nelson, Beckett Nelson, Kate, Joe Langpaul, Jaxon and Emma Regenwether; her great great grandchildren, Carter Nelson, Addie and Avery Nelson; her siblings, Roland (Peggy Hansen) of Elk Horn, Iowa, Betsy (Tom Nelsen) of Audubon and Mardelle (Duane Mortensen) of Ankeny, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Janet Wunder of Harlan and Shirley Hansen of Audubon.
