He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Edwin and Flossi Ann Griffin (Anderson); his wife Etta Griffin; his granddaughter Hadleigh Griffin; his sister Pam Cullen; his aunts and uncles, Edri, Dale, Zoe and Dave Griffin; and his niece Nichole Schafer.
He is survived by: his children, Shane Griffin of Nevada, Crystal (Gregg Curtis) of Grimes, Curtis (Stacey Griffin) of Glenwood, Cody Griffin of Elk Horn and Brady Griffin (Ashlie Heuss) of Audubon, Iowa; his siblings, Sandy Ramm of North Carolina, Jim Griffin of Omaha and Jeff (Danielle Griffin) of Waverly, Nebraska; his uncle David Lee (Donna Anderson) of Exira; his aunt Lois (Harvey Seidel) of Wyoming; his niece Kate Schafer; and his great grandchildren, Weston Uren and Stetson Uren. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
