He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Knudsen and Rosie Knudsen (Otzen); his daughter-in-law Sandy Knudsen; his parents-in-law, Earnest and Caroline Mutschall; and his siblings, Nels (Ila Knudsen), Lester (Katie Knudsen), Leonard (Beatrice Knudsen), Gladys (Charles Miller), Warren (Betty Knudsen) and Alma (Thearl Mesecher).
He is survived by: his son Roger (Jane Knudsen) of Williamsburg; his wife Irene Knudsen of Carroll, Iowa; his son Rex Knudsen of Carroll, Iowa; his granddaughters, Julie Kennebeck (Brad Schafbuch) of Victor, Jodie (Chad Driscoll) of Williamsburg, Allissa (Evan Aldinger) of San Antonio and Katie Knudsen (Kirby Gunnersen) of Bondurant, Iowa; and his great grandchildren, Jayden, Camden Kennebeck of Victor, Peyton of Williamsburg, Kenzi of Williamsburg, Mylee Driscoll of Williamsburg and Lincoln Aldinger of San Antonio, Texas..
