He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sr. Rabe and Freda Rabe (Ruhs); his daughter-in-law Sandi Rabe; his great grandchild Jackson Rabe; his sister Mary Lou (Orin Holstad); and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Jensen, Robert Eagen, Louis Carlson and Harriet Eagen.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rabe of Audubon, Iowa; his children, Rosalie Babcock (Don) of Indianola, Iowa, Colleen Madsen (Tom) of Audubon, Ronell Nymand (Rob) of Brayton, Iowa and Steven Rabe (Kristi) of Rockwell City, Iowa; his sister Josephine Jensen of Loveland, Colorado; and his siblings-in-law, Alice Carlson, Corinne Kellar and Roger Eagen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
