She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKinley and Lena Johanna Burns (Baier); her husband Cameron "Shorty" Krauel; her daughters, Nadine Krauel and Colleen (George Ritson, Jr.); and her siblings, Bruce Burns, Ray Burns, Dale Burns, Don Burns, Norma (Alvin Hansen) and Edna (Dalton Borkowski).
She is survived by: her children, Randy (Cindy Krauel) of Carroll, Mike (Mary Jo Krauel) of Audubon Iowa and Mary (Mike Chambers); her grandsons, Derek Ritson of Muscatine, Kirby Chambers of Iowa, Tyler Brick of Waukee and Colton Chambers; her sisters-in-law, Grace Burns of Omaha, Harriett Lewis of Des Moines and Hilda Burns of Augusta, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Kevin Ritson, Ryan Ritson, Jessica Stessman, Jon Krauel and McKenzie Nissen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
