He is survived by: his wife Pat Anthofer of Audubon, Iowa; his children, Janet (Scott Pattee) of Ankeny, Kathy (Brian Higginbotham) of Des Moines and Russ (Sarah Anthofer) of Bondurant, Iowa; his grandchildren, Eleanor, Charlotte Pattee, Jane Higginbotham, Rachel and Luke Anthofer; his brother Larry (Lora Anthofer) of Audubon, Iowa; and his in-laws, Dorothy Ventiecher of Ft. Dodge, Robert, Helen Nieland of Minnesota, Jim, Donna Nieland of Omaha, Elaine Nieland of Carroll, Judy (Gene Muhlbauer) of Halbur, Jane Nieland of Carroll, Tom (Carolyn Nieland) of Alamo, Mike (Brenda Nieland) of Manning, LuAnn (Jim Smith) of Alabaster and Donna Anthofer of Audubon, Iowa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
