She was predeceased by: her husbands, Hal Haner and Emmert Schmidt of Saviour's Lutheran Church; her son-in-law Wayne Madsen; her stepdaughter-in-law Danette Schmidt; her parent Chris; her siblings, Alice (Marvin Kyndesen) and Donavon (Julien Back); her parents-in-law, Royal and Esther Haner; and her brother-in-law Herb Hansen.
She is survived by: her children, Barb Madsen, Joel Purtle of Green Valley, Dale Haner, Cathie Grover of Audubon and Chris (Beth Haner) of Bouton, Iowa; her grandchildren, Wendi Madsen of Tucson, Robin Madsen of Waukee, Mark, Keri Smith of Lee's Summit, Cody, Lindsey Haner of Omaha and Katie Haner; her children, Kyle, Becca Haner of Madrid, Kaleb and Megan Haner of Windsor Heights, Iowa; her stepchildren, Glenda (Giff Gardner) of Aurora, James and Maria Schmidt of Las Vegas, Nevada; her stepgrandchildren, Tracey, Mark Phillips of Hendersen, Matt Schmidt of Las Vegas, Jake, Teresa Schmidt of Las Vegas, Crystal, David Moses of Norman, Autumn Grover and Scott Hitsenberger of Dallas, Texas; and her siblings-in-law, Gloria Hansen of Exira and David (Shirley Haner) of Beatrice, Nebraska. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
