She was predeceased by: her son Barry "Bear" Spitler; her granddaughter Erika Veach Holland; and her parents, Leonard Duling and Betty Duling. She is survived by: her daughter Tammy (Randy Shaw) of Des Moines, Iowa; her grandchildren, Melissa (Brett Kessler) of Grimes and Tanner Shaw of Des Moines, Iowa; and her great grandchildren, Klarissa Veach of Des Moines, Iowa, Amilya Veach of Des Moines, Iowa and James Holland of Des Moines, Iowa. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
