He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Plain and Lucille Plain (Ang); and his siblings, Lois, Elmer, Harry, Laramie and Joyce.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Breinholt (John) and Denise Cardall; his grandchildren, Micayla Enderle (James), Alena Niemand (Joe), John Breinholt IV and Joshua Breinholt; and his siblings, Beatrice Sparks, Leaworth Plain, Emily Winsor, Genevieve Carlyle, Gwen Lingle, Isabella Blalock, Luther Plain and Frank Plain. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
