He is survived by: his children, Melissa, Shelley Snyder (Glen) of Carroll, IA, Missy Dornath (Steve) of Lake View, IA and Tim (Christina Hallberg) of Indianola, IA; his grandchildren, Nikki, Quinton (Krista), Jake and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Kali, Kiernan and Ollie; his brothers, Larry Brend (Vera) of Tupelo, OK, Dwight Brend (Kay) of Parker, CO, Steve Brend (Connie) of Goddard, KS and Tom Brend of Wichita, KS; his siblings-in-law, Jeri Brend of Churdan, IA and Stan Stover of Stuart, IA; and his close friends, Jim and Carolyn Mohr of Auburn, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
