He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde King and Sarah King; his stepsons, Shawn and Ryan; and his cousin Joe Bachman.

He is survived by: his former wife Kathleen; his wife Claudia; his children, Lonnie, Daniel (Candy), Dale (Toni), Kevin (Jody), Colin (Caryn) and Shane (Alison); and his siblings, Jean Hawes (Stan) and Roger King (Patsy). He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren.
