He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Birchard and Donna Birchard (Alcox); and his sister Jane Schwartz. He is survived by: his children, Emilee Birchard (Eric Dorsey) of Council Bluffs, Bryan Birchard (Kristen) of Ottumwa and Mollie Sanchez (Juan) of Lennox; and his brother Warren Birchard (Karen) of Des Moines, Iowa. He is also survived by "Papa" had seven grandchildren as well, and a host of relatives and many friends.
