She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Steinkamp and Emma Steinkamp (Damm); her husband Wilfred Henry Wernimont; her sons, Craig Wernimont and Al Wernimont; her grandsons, Weston Wernimont and Aaron Wernimont; her siblings, Merlin (Lenore), Ray, Lorne, Melvin Steinkamp (Bernie), Cleone Evers (Rolie) and Leota Eich (Harold); and her brother-in-law Bill Whitaker.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Kramper (Ralph) of Omaha, NE, Sharon Becker (Jeff) of Ames, IA, Shele Blum (Scott) of Ames, IA and Dr. Dan Wernimont (Leah) of Pocahontas, IA; her daughters-in-law, Kris Wernimont of Atlantic, IA and Jane Wernimont of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Cindi Auth (Ryan) of Neenah, WI, Paul Kramper (Michaela) of Omaha, NE, Laura End (James) of Whitefish Bay, WI, Molly Donovan (Doug) of Naperville, IL, Keri Dillon (Chris) of Omaha, NE, Madeline Quinn (Scott) of Omaha, NE, Andrea Becker of Omaha, NE, Zach Becker of Ames, IA, Madison Blum of Ames, IA, Ryan Blum of Lincoln, NE, Nick Wernimont (Pamela) of Cedar Falls, IA and Chris Wernimont (Sara) of Gilbertville, IA; her sister Neva Whitaker of Orange, CA; and her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Wernimont of Virginia Beach, VA, Rose Kane of Stewartville, MN and Gladys Steinkamp of Arcadia, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
