It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jacobsen (Atlantic, Iowa), who passed away on June 26, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford B Wright and Dorothy Wright (Lang); her husband Floyd V. Jacobsen of Elk Horn, IA.; her sister Carol Wallace (Dell); her daughter-in-law Dr. Jonita Jacobsen; her parents-in-law, Walter and Emma Jacobsen; and her siblings-in-law, Audrey Holtz (Don), Melten Jacobsen and Leo Jacobsen (Donna).
She is survived by: her children, Alan Jacobsen of Sioux City, IA, Myra Houser (Norman) of Ankeny, IA, Nancy Steckelberg (Joe) of Independence, IA, Carl Jacobsen (Lori) of Ankeny, IA, Mike Jacobsen (Jessica) of Atlantic, IA and Ann Johnk (Larry) of Walnut, IA; and her siblings, Roma Gerry of Omaha, NE and Clifford C. Wright (Nova). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
