She was predeceased by: her husband Dick Ferguson; her parents, Lee Blackford and Ruth Blackford; and her parents-in-law, Paul and Aileen Ferguson.

She is survived by: her daughter Tammie Cass (Mike) of Atlantic; her grandchildren, Kelsie Kralik (Adam) of Atlantic and Christopher Cass (Jenna) of Bondurant, IA; her son Kevin Ferguson (Cyndi) of Atlantic; her grandchildren, Shelbie Moen (Andrew) of Marion, IA, Andrew Ferguson (Katy) of Republic, MO and Jenna Ferguson (Kyle) of Wiota, IA; and her great grandchildren, Bentley Ferguson, Colt Ferguson, Maylee Ferguson, Kayleigh Cass and Kashten Kralik.

Memorials may be made to the family for later designation to Shirley's favorite charities.
