She was predeceased by: her siblings, Gary and Marilyn Jones; and her grandson Clayton Nygaard. She is survived by: her husband Duane; her daughter Diane Nygaard (Terry); her grandson Eric of Overland Park; her daughter LuAnn Acker (Bill Tout) of Ft. Myers, Florida; her sister Jeannie Jones of Shell Knob, MO; and her brother-in-law John Rasmussen of Temecula, CA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Heritage House, First Presbyterian Church of Atlantic, or the YMCA Atlantic in honor of Shirley.
