Russell McNees Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2019, at the age of 83, Russell McNees (Atlantic, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandparents, William and Cora Keim; his mother Ethel Mae McNees (Keim); his wife Julia of Atlantic; his children, Mark McNees (Bobbi) of Atlantic, Dale McNees (Rachel) of Land and Lisa Richards (Matthew) of Berkeley, California; his grandchildren, Ian McNees, Maren Kinney (Travis), Lauren McNees, Colin McNees, Olivia and Jacob McNees; his sisters, Sandra Ujlaky and Barb Chepak (Bob); his sister-in-law Martha McNees; his father George McNees; his siblings, Lois Marie McNees and George McNees; and his parents-in-law, Glenn and Hazel Brown. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for later designation to the Atlantic First United Methodist Church, Pymosa Masonic Lodge #271, Shriners Hospital for Children, Atlantic Elks Lodge #445, and the Atlantic Fire Department.
