He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sandvig and Marvel Sandvig (Cruickshank); his sister Kristy Hammer; his parents-in-law, Kenneth Hoover and Dorothy Hoover; and his brothers-in-law, Gene Pedersen and Dick Hoover.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Sandvig of Atlantic; his daughters, Jessica Hember (Steve Wickman) of Emmetsburg, IA, Andrea Butler (Troy Young) of Atlantic, IA and Laura Sandvig (Danny Spracklin) of Atlantic, IA; his grandchildren, Jacob, Kaitlyn Hember of Emmetsburg, IA, Zach, Zoey Butler, Jocelyn, Harper Young of Atlantic, IA, Aliyah, Brayden and Cashton Sandvig of Atlantic, IA; his siblings, Jerry Sandvig, James Sandvig (Diana) and Kelly Sandvig; and his siblings-in-law, David Hoover (Dee), Karen Pedersen, Jane Coltvet (Doug) and Dawn Blair.
Memorials may be directed to the Ronald Sandvig Family and will be designated at a later date in memory of him, and may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA 50022.
