Roger Maas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Maas of Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on December 19, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Maas and Florence Maas (Stier); his great-niece Randi Jo Munch; and his father-in-law Don Brix. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kay Brix; his children, Shannon Gearheart (Rob) of Atlantic, IA, Alison Tupper (Rich) of Atlantic, IA and Joe Maas (Melissa) of Manning, IA; his grandchildren, Jordan, Benton, Matthew, Kelsey, Annie, Aaden and Alex; his sister Connie Nissen of Hamlin, IA; and his mother-in-law Norma Brix of Atlantic. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service will take place on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at the United Church of Christ, Atlantic, IA The Maas Family and staff at Hockenberry's have requested to please utilize social distancing and wear a mask in attendance of the services.
Memorials may be directed to the family and will be designated at a later date in honor of Roger.
