It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Van Cleave (Atlantic, Iowa), who passed away on April 30, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Cleave and Anna Van Cleave (Christensen); and his sister JoAnn Trow. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Maxine Griffiths of Atlantic, IA; his children, John Van Cleave (Patty) of Maryville, MO, Chris Adams (John) of Columbia, MO and Rob Van Cleave (Debbie) of Atlantic, IA; his grandchildren, Andrea Marsh (Richie) of Kearney, MO, Matt Van Cleave (Sarah) of Mesa, AZ, Chad Ayres (Amber) of Kansas City, MO, Beth Biro (Danny) of Sacramento, CA, Amanda Wooden (Jeremy) of Columbia, MO, Zach Van Cleave (Victoria) of Huxley, IA and Christopher Van Cleave (Erika) of Atlantic, IA; and his sisters, Sally Niffenegger of Des Moines, IA and Sussie Brock (Bernie) of Rogers, AR.. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
