Robert Merle Evans Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Merle Evans of Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on May 22, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Evans and Leila Evans (Applegate); his wife Doris Nolte; his son Kenny; his siblings, Ellis, Lucille, Lois and Ruth; and his nephew Ron Swope.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Butler (Gail) of Atlantic, IA and Julie Tjepkes (Curt) of Grundy Center, IA; his daughter-in-law Charlotte Evans of Griswold, IA; his grandchildren, Jeremy Butler (Billie), Jill Leonard (Doug), Leah Schmidt (Paul), Ryan Evans (Jessie), Katie Kelly (Doug), Trent Burg (Pilar), Thad Burg and Adam Burg (April); his niece Madeline Roberts; and his great great grandchild Baby Hagedorn. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
