We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Richard Rainey (Atlantic, Iowa), born in Akron, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Victoria Smith and Leslie Sylvester Rainey; his siblings, Paul, Eleanor and Evelyn; and his stepson Philip Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Rainey of Atlantic; his daughter Ellen Mary Reardon; his granddaughters, Hannah and Olivia Reardon; his stepchildren, Alan Turner (California), Lisa Covell (California) and John Covell (Arizona); his nieces and nephews, Susan Byrd (California), Caprice Wright (Texas), Maxine Reynolds (Florida), Larry Knopf (Ohio) and Christopher Tabbert (Montana); and his friend Shirley Phifer-Watson. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
Memorials may be given to the family and will be designated at a later date.
